Mental healthcare rooted in the belief that change happens through care, not correction.

Meet Molly Bato, LMSW Owner, Therapist

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I've been practicing therapy since 2016, and over the years, I've learned that every person carries a deep inner resilience and an ability to heal. Sometimes, they just need a little support in uncovering it. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in trust.

I specialize in trauma therapy, as well as having experience supporting clients through a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. I work with folks from all walks of life and deeply value the richness that diversity brings. All identities and backgrounds are welcome and affirmed here.

My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, mindfulness oriented, and grounded in social and systemic awareness. It is my belief that tenderness is a form of resistance in a world that teaches us to harden, and that safety and connection create the conditions for change. If you feel I would be a good fit to walk alongside you in this journey, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Therapy Services

Offering trauma-informed and specific care to adults aged 18-100+

  • Therapy tailored to your unique needs. I draw from a humanistic, person-centered approach, and work from the idea that a safe and supportive relationship with the therapist is key for an individual to get to know and understand themselves, and change what they desire to change.

  • My goal is to provide evidence-based care that still feels personalized. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy, DBT (Dialectical behavior therapy,) and incorporate other evidenced-based strategies to suit my client’s needs.

  • Trauma-whether it is developmental, recurring throughout the early years of life, a single incident or multiple, something long ago, or more recent-can have lasting impacts on emotional health. Sometimes this presents as PTSD, but it may present as other life challenges-relationship difficulties, persistent anxiety and fear, or difficulty connecting with one’s own values and interests. While I work with a broad range of mental health difficulties, trauma work is my specialty.
